Collage has a lot of charm, which helps to make up for the small footprint. While it can sleep four people at once, the communal area would feel very full with the sofa bed out. For two, however, it’s easily big enough, and the bedroom in particular is full of nice objects. The street outside is a classic Roman alleyway – Monti is famous for them – though the high buildings nearby do block a bit of the light coming through the windows.

Home truths
The windows are only single-glazed so some noise can come from the street below
There's no lift in the building – you'll have to climb to the first floor
The apartment can hold up to four guests at a time, but two would be on a sofa bed and it would be a bit of a squeeze

About Monti
It's a truth universally acknowledged that in every city, there is a district just waiting to be described as expressing the spirit of the old Soho. In Rome, Monti is that place, and the connection is a fair one - although what Monti lacks in advertising agencies and mustachioed tech bros, it makes up for in creative enclaves, smoky bars and delicious places to eat. Nestled right in the heart...

Host
This home is managed by Misael
This home is managed by a business on behalf of its owner. A member of their staff will be your point of contact before and during your stay. Although Peruvian by birth, Misael has lived in Italy since he was a child. He studied economics, but travelling was always his calling, so eventually he decided to dip his toes in the water of holiday rentals. He’s also big on design, something that comes through in the interior of the flat.
