About Battersea
Battersea has been dubbed 'Nappy Valley' for its popularity with affluent young families, and it's not hard to see what draws them in. The area is surrounded by the green expanses of Clapham Common, Wandsworth Common and the vast Battersea Park, with its children’s zoo, boating lake, mini golf, and many acres of nature trails to explore. There are lots of good foodie spots and independent boutiques nearby, especially...

Get Outdoors at Battersea Park
Stroll around the corner to one of London’s largest green spaces for an exciting family day out. Visit the exotic animals at Battersea Children's Zoo & rent a boat for a paddle around the pretty lake.
Stop for Breakfast at Battersea Square
Walk west towards the river to find this bustling little area lined with restaurants & cafes. Most have outdoor seating to enjoy the sun when it's out. Try Queenswood for a delicious fresh breakfast.
Discover home-grown food next door at Nutbourne
This new addition to Battersea opened by the Gladwin brothers offers a taste of the Sussex countryside with all ingredients sourced from their family farm & wines produced in their very own vineyard.
Have a night of Jazz & Drinks at Le QuecumBar
A hidden gem in downtown SW11. Legacy of Django Reinhardt and the players of his jazz manouche genre. Expect hot club gypsy, vintage swing and some good ol' New Orleans jazz.
Walk along Chelsea Embankment
With a view of Albert Bridge, the gorgeous, artist and poet filled houses of Cheyne Walk and the houseboats moored up, Chelsea Embankment is full of West London charm.
Unwind at the Prince Albert Pub
A few minutes up the road, you will come across The Prince Albert. A favourite amongst the locals, this is the perfect place to have a beer or glass of wine and unwind after a long day of exploring.
Fine dine at Gordon Ramsey's London House
The atmosphere of London House in Battersea is a trip back to the ’90s. This is fine dining as it used to be, with the staff spiffingly well-dressed and roses on the tables.
Head to Bunga Bunga for Pizza and a Party
The Englishman’s Italian. This is a kitsch bar paying homage to the playful side of Italy, with party-animal PM Silvio Berlusconi as the poster boy. A riot at weekends.
Ride a Clipper Boat
If walking isn’t your thing and you like to think you’re more nautical, hop on the bus and then a Clipper Boat at Plantation Wharf (oyster card friendly) and head East towards Greenwich.
Tuck into a hearty lunch at The Lighthouse
Battersea is famous for its pub scene. A few minutes up the road you will find The Lighthouse. A delightful family friendly pub that serves delicious food. Their Sunday roast is to die for.
Find a treasure at the Battersea Car Boot Sale
A bit pricey but quality is on point. Get sifting through vintage and high-end goodies. There is always something that will grab your attention.
MEAT LOVERS AT SANTA MARIA DEL SUR
In this Argentinian slick restaurant it's all about the steak and choosing between a mojito, a cold beer or a bottle of wine to go with it!
