About Battersea
Battersea has been dubbed 'Nappy Valley' for its popularity with affluent young families, and it's not hard to see what draws them in. The area is surrounded by the green expanses of Clapham Common, Wandsworth Common and the vast Battersea Park, with its children’s zoo, boating lake, mini golf, and many acres of nature trails to explore. There are lots of good foodie spots and independent boutiques nearby, especially...

Go for Breakfast in Battersea Square
Walk towards this bustling little area lined with restaurants & cafés. Most have outdoor seating to enjoy the sun when it's out. Try Queenswood for a delicious fresh breakfast.

SPEND THE DAY AT BATTERSEA PARK
Literally across the street from the flat you will find all the green space you need to frolic with your pets or kids or yourselves! Look out for fairs and markets that happen throughout the year.

WALK ALONG THE CHELSEA EMBANKMENT
At the end of the street, you'll find the Chelsea Embankment, one of the more beautiful roads in the city. Rainy or sunny, it is one of the most enjoyable walks along the River Thames.

Fine dine at Gordon Ramsey's London House
Take a trip back to the 90s. This is fine dining as it used to be, with the staff spiffingly well-dressed and roses on the tables.

Have a night of Jazz & Drinks at Le QuecumBar
A hidden gem in downtown SW11. Legacy of Django Reinhardt and the players of his jazz manouche genre. Expect gypsy, vintage swing and some good ol' New Orleans jazz.

Ride a Clipper Boat
If walking isn’t your thing and you like to think you’re more nautical, hop on a Clipper boat at Plantation Wharf (oyster card friendly) and head East towards Greenwich.

Tuck into a hearty lunch at The Lighthouse
Battersea is well-known for its pub scene and a few minutes up the road you'll find this delightful family friendly pub that serves delicious food and a Sunday roast to die for.

Go to Bunga Bunga for Pizza
The Englishman’s Italian. This is a kitsch bar paying homage to the playful side of Italy, with party-animal PM Silvio Berlusconi as the poster boy. A riot at weekends.

FIND A BARGAIN AT BATTERSEA CAR BOOT SALE
Come down every Sunday and expect to find quality items, designer goods, vintage clothing, antiques and collectables. The good stuff always goes first be sure to come early.

JOIN THE LOCALS FOR A PINT AT THE PRINCE ALBERT
Steps from the front door of the flat, this is the place to be after a long day out. Sit outside if the weather is nice or cozy up by a fire inside.

Get a taste of Argentina at Santa Maria del Sur
In this slick Argentinian restaurant it's all about the steak and choosing between a Mojito, cold beer or a bottle of wine to go with it.
