With ombré walls, velvet sofas, mid-century furniture, intricate wallpaper, and an original fireplace, this cosy home is what interior design dreams are made of. Step outside and yet another exciting feature awaits you – this building is known as “the thin house”. With only six-feet width at its narrowest end, this perceived optical illusion is another marvel. But don’t worry, the fun doesn’t stop there – the renowned V&A and Natural History museum are just moments away. Pack your finest clothes, you’re going to London!

Home truths

Unfortunately, the tube runs along the back of the building so the noise and vibration from that is less than ideal

Two guests will sleep on the sofa bed in the living room

This home is on the second floor with no lift

With the bedroom on the mezzanine level, there is not much privacy if there are guests staying in the living area

Although the kitchen is fully equipped and very sweet, the fridge is a little older than the rest of the appliances

The shower pressure wasn’t as strong as we would have liked and the shower head is quite low at only 173cm

This home is currently for sale – your host may need to conduct viewings in the home during your stay – this also means the home will receive daily cleaning
