Do you have a question about this home or the local area?
Script Court has a clean modern look – parts have a sixties feel, parts are very contemporary. You don’t get a lot of breathing space, but it’s comfortable and convenient. The two full bathrooms are great to have. The bedroom is roomy and gets plenty of natural light, and the garden views lend a more relaxing atmosphere. There are great transport links nearby which makes this a good base for exploring Florence and the general Tuscan region.

About Accademia
With the Piazza San Marco at its heart, this area is a hotspot for cultural sights. It’s packed with museums, churches, squares, and historic buildings that can keep you occupied for days on end. This bundle of streets holds some of the greatest artistic heritage in Europe – the Accademia Gallery houses the original David by Michelangelo, and many of the famous Italian painters were members of the Florence Academy...

Relax in the Gherardesca gardens
Wandering through the trees in this garden is just the salve you need after a long day craning your neck at the Uffizi.

Wander the halls of Museo Stibbert
This villa was once home to a British art collector, who inherited huge wealth from his family in India, and now his entire collection is on display.

See David at Galleria dell'Accademia
Michelangelo's David is one of the most famous pieces of art in the world, and no trip to Florence is complete without ogling the five-metre high sculpture.

Browse the stalls at Mercato Centrale
This is one of the best places in the city to get your fresh vegetables and cheese. There are crowds, but the bustle is part of the magic.

Catch a show at Teatro della Pergola
This spectacular opera house from the seventeenth century hosts over 250 performances a year, and is home to the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino festival.

Explore Florence's Gothic Cathedral
The Duomo, along with the Baptistry of St. John and Giotto's Belltower, form a stunning architectural complex in the middle of the city.

Hide away in Serre Torrigiani in Piazzetta
From May to September, a small square turns into a beautiful garden. It hosts various events, and is a perfect spot for a glass of local wine.

Browse the food at Sant'Ambrogio market
Less touristy than Mercato Centrale, this is where locals come to get the freshest produce and the best selection of meat, bread, and cheese.

Catch a film at Cinema Odeon
This cinema has been going continuously since 1922, and these days it shows a combination of independent releases, blockbusters, and classic films.

Get a coffee at Caffè Le Murate
A combination of a bookshop, a cafe, and a gallery, this arts centre is housed in a former prison, but these days the vibe is slightly different.

Help yourself at All'Antico Vinaio
With great food at fantastic prices, and a self-service wine bar stocked with local vintages, it's no wonder that the clientele often spills onto the streets.

Host
This home is managed by Vanessa
This home is managed directly by a business. A member of their staff will be your point of contact before and during your stay. Vanessa and her team take care of a whole host of flats around the place, so they’ve got the nuts and bolts of the operation perfected. They’re all pretty knowledgeable as well, so don’t be afraid to ask for tips on local restaurants and bars.
