With direct views of the Mercato Centrale from not just one, but two terraces, John's Dome is perfect for those who want to spend their time al fresco. The interiors are modern and clean, though we wouldn’t go as far as saying that it has a coherent design style. Having said that, a group of friends or a family would be well looked after here, especially with its proximity to some of Florence's most exciting attractions – the already-mentioned Mercato Centrale is a must if you're a bit of a foodie.

The Piazza Santa Maria Novella, with its Gothic church and museum, is the centrepiece, and while the area immediately surrounding the train station is fairly gritty, it’s a convenient spot for those just passing through. Though Santa Maria Novella is not directly in the middle...

Host
This home is managed by Lorenzo
This home is managed by a business on behalf of its owner. A member of their staff will be your point of contact before and during your stay. Lorenzo and his colleagues look after a fair number of homes around Florence, so you know that you're in good hands with them. Not only are they as professional as you'd expect for such an operation, but they are all very friendly as well.
